*STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT: DUDUZA SAPS STATION CLEANING CAMPAIGN*

The Duduza SAPS, together with it's Stakeholders and the support from the Department of Correctional Services, embarked on a cleaning campaign at Duduza SAPS.

Stakeholders teamed up to do the gardening, wash windows, clean offices, the counters, cubicles, and all the hidden corners of the entire interior and exterior of the police station.

While stakeholders ensured that the police station is s***k and span, some members assisted community members at the charge office with certication of documents and affidavits to improve service delivery.

It was all hands on deck for the members and stakeholders of Duduza SAPS to ensure that our police station is clean and that our community receives the most efficient services in a safe and squeaky clean environment.

*COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: GBVF AWARENESS CAMPAIGN. FREE HUGS FOR VALENTINES DAY*

DUDUZA SAPS/YCPD

Issued on behalf of the Duduza YCPD

DATE: Friday 2026-02-13
TIME: 11:00 TO 13:00

The SAPS, YCPD, WASP, BRIGADES, Community in blue gathered outside of Duduza SAPS, dressed in red and white with a beautiful table setup, put together by members of WASP, under the Gazebo to celebrate valentine's day a little differently.

This Valentine’s Day, while love is often shown through gifts and romance, Duduza SAPS stakeholders chose to honour those who have been hurt in the name of love (GBVF).

We celebrated the silent warriors, the ones who still show up smiling, who keep pouring into others even when their own cups are empty.

We know how lonely Valentine’s Day may feel for those who suffer in silence. We just wanted them to know that:

We see you. We appreciate you. We celebrate you this Valentine’s Day.

Community members and members of the SAPS who were on duty were given big hugs and little treats with a message of affirmation attached to brighten up their day!

*COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT: BUILD UP TO BACK TO SCHOOL CAMPAIGNS AND ANTI-BULLYING AWARENESS CAMPAIGN*

DUDUZA SAPS

Issued on behalf of the A/Station Commander Lt.Col. PH Khambula

DATE: Monday 2026-01-12
TIME: 11:30 TO 14:00

The SAPS, YCPD and Community in blue of Duduza SAPS began their build-up to the back to school campaigns of 2026 by engaging with parents of learners who needed assistance with certification of documents and affidavits to register their children into schools for the year 2026.

Parents were given anti-bullying pamphlets and encouraged to read through the pamphlet with their children and explain the contexts of the pamphlet to their children prior to the commencement of the school term.

The purpose of this exercise is to promote "parent-child conversations" about social issues and to ensure that learners are informed about the dangers of bullying and how to report incidents of bullying. It also gave stakeholders a chance to engage with parents regarding issues they face with their children and improved service delivery as the queue going to the CSC was manageable while the Gazebo was in place.

Stakeholders will be outside the CSC for the next few days to assist parents.
