PUBLIC NOTICE:
DYSSELSDORP AND KKRWSS WATER SUPPLY

The Oudtshoorn Municipality is currently investigating a water quality-related operational issue affecting certain boreholes supplying the Dysselsdorp Water Treatment Works.

As part of the investigation, it may become necessary to temporarily isolate one or more boreholes from the supply system to identify the source of the problem and to ensure the continued effective operation of the treatment works.

Should this become necessary, the volume of water available for treatment and distribution may be reduced for a temporary period. While every effort is being made to minimise any impact on consumers, residents are requested to use water sparingly and to avoid all non-essential water use until the investigation has been completed.

Municipal technical personnel are actively monitoring the situation and implementing measures to maintain water supply to consumers. Further updates will be provided as more information becomes available.

The Municipality apologises for any inconvenience and thanks residents for their cooperation and responsible water use.
