Early Childhood Development Library Tour

We had a wonderful and informative morning with the principals and teachers from the ECDs in our area!
We spoke about the importance of reading, our 1000 Stories programme, block loan cards, Libby, PressReader and many more library services available to support our little readers.

We ended the morning with a tour of our library showing them how we do storytelling with the children when they visit us.

A big thank you to all the ECDs who attended. We look forward to working together to encourage a love of reading in our little ones!

Yesterday our Social Club at Hernus Kriel celebrated Heritage Day a little early.

We had so much fun making braai broodtjies, sharing stories, laughter and enjoying wonderful company with our seniors.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make the day so special.

What a fun morning at our monthly staff book discussion!

We were divided into two groups and had to answer questions about different celebrity book clubs. The morning ended off by finding some of Reese Witherspoon’s Book Club picks in our library.

Come and check out the Reese’s Book Club titles we have available at the library!
