Est. 1994 and still managed by Renee, The Savannah Africa is Parys’ 660ha Game Reserve, renowned for professionally guided game drives, wildlife conservation and environmental education. The 660ha single-enclosure game reserve is nestled in a 6km bend of the Vaal River, on the rim of the Vredefort Dome World Heritage Site. affe, Kudu, Nyala, Impala, Waterbuck, Springbok, Blesbok, Zebra, Blue Wildebeest... We protect other naturally-occurring fauna and flora - all as Nature intended. The Savannah Africa was founded 1in 1994 by Renee de Jong Hartslief to create a safe haven for indigenous wildlife species and an education facility for all cultures and generations. We do NOT operate the lodge or events company situated in our reserve.
