The Office of MP, Hon. Andisiwe Kumbaca commemorated the Mandela Day Programme at Ayliff Primary School, Durban, where vegetable seedings were planted to promote food security. The Department of Agriculture provided practical gardening guidance. The Department of Basic Education engaged with the school principal on the school's progress and priority needs.
The programme concluded in Peddie Extension with the hand over of groceries to a vulnerable family. We extend our sincere appreciation to the CMC, Ward 8 Leadership, community members, volunteers, and all stakeholders whose support contributed to the success of the Programme.

Peddie Constituency Office, under the Leadership of Hon. MP Andisiwe Kumbaca, will commemorate Mandela Day by conducting a community programme on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, commencing at 11:00 at Ayliff Primary School, Durban. The programme will include the planting of vegetables in the school's garden to promote sustainable food production and food security. Thereafter, the delegation will proceed to Peddie Extension to hand over groceries to a vulnerable family in the spirit of compassion, service, and community upliftment inspired by Nelson Mandela's Legacy.

The Office of the Member of Parliament, Hon. Andisiwe Kumbaca successfully conducted a Voter Registration and ID Campaign Programme on 4 May 2026 at Nathaniel Pamla Senior Secondary School and Mzuxolile Senior Secondary School. Sanitary towels were distributed at Nathaniel Pamla Senior Secondary School as part of support and dignity and wellbeing of young women. The programme also included a visit to a family in Endlovini Village who sadly lost everything in a fire, where support and solidarity were extended during this difficult time.

The Office of the Member of Parliament, Hon. Andisiwe Kumbaca, joined by CMC Members, and Councillors Mfundo Gqo, Nomfundo Ntsunguzi, and Bulela Ntabeni, conducted Back to School visits at Masibonisane High School (Ward 3), Matomela High School (Ward 12), and Amazizi High School (Ward 11).
The visits focused on motivating learners, supporting educators, and assessing school readiness for the academic year, with a warm reception from the Principals, Staff, SGBs, Ward Committees, and Learners.

Member of Parliament, Hon. Andisiwe Kumbaca , conducted a Back-to-School Visit at Dondashe High School alongside the Department of Education Circuit Managers, Mr Zukisile Mboto and Mrs Thandiswa Mpama, Ward 2 Councillor ( CMC) , Phumza Nodala.
We were warmly welcomed by the Principal, Mr Gwili, Educators, Parents, Ward Committees, Street Committees, and Learners. Education is a collective responsibility.
