2026 KZN SASCE Championship

The KwaZulu-Natal Department of Education successfully hosted the first day of the 2026 KZN SASCE Championship at Sastri College under the uMlazi District.

The outstanding performances showcased by learners from all districts reflected the dedication, commitment, and hard work of educators who continuously nurture talent within schools. These performances highlighted the importance of extracurricular activities in promoting holistic learner development, as a healthy mind thrives in a healthy body.

The categories presented today were:

* Tenor Solo
* Alto Solo
* Baritone Solo
* Trio

The Department of Education sincerely appreciates the efforts of everyone who contributed to the successful launch of this competition. Their commitment and teamwork ensured a memorable and inspiring start to the championship.
