Our beautifully situated Garden Route Wolf Sanctuary, situated between Knysna and Plettenberg Bay – offers an unparalleled experience with wolves. Zeev's first trip outside the sanctuary and he absolutely loved it.
We have never been able to harness Zeev, never mind take him to the beach, but with his old age he has calmed down and really enjoys the harness now.

Wolves will communicate with one another and show affection to one another by licking the face and putting their mouths over the snout of the other wolf. They will also lick each others teeth.

Lelu is showing our guide Carina that kind of love and affection. As she would her own mate. Carina knows to keep her mouth closed before her teeth get licked as well😂
