ANCWL PETER MOKABA REGION REAFFIRMS CALL FOR JUSTICE FOR MODJADJI THOKA

Today, a delegation led by ANCWL Peter Mokaba Regional Secretary, Cde Sophy Ramoshaba, joined the call for justice for Modjadji Thoka at the High Court in Polokwane.

The delegation reaffirmed the ANC Women’s League’s unwavering commitment to confronting gender-based violence and femicide, and to standing in solidarity with victims, survivors and affected families.

The ANCWL continues to call for justice, accountability and the full might of the law in the fight against GBVF.

In Pictures | The ANCWL PEC, represented by Provincial Organiser Cde Happy Bayana, today joined the ANCWL Peter Mokaba Region Local Elections Campaign in Ward 37, Seshego, Polokwane Sub-Region.

The campaign was led by Regional Chairperson Cde Mapula Phoshoko, alongside Regional Deputy Chairperson Cde Tinny Moetji, Regional Secretary Cde Sophy Ramoshaba and Deputy Regional Secretary Cde Ouma Mashiane.

During the door-to-door campaign, comrades engaged residents and encouraged them to exercise their democratic right by voting on 4 November 2026.

ANC Ward 37 branch leadership and members also joined the campaign.
