Happy Mother’s Day from all of us at LHLF 🌿

Today we take a moment to honour and celebrate all mothers — the heart of every home, the quiet strength behind every success, and the steady guiding force in every life they touch.

Your love builds foundations, your patience shapes futures, and your care leaves a legacy far beyond what words can express. Whether near or far, your impact is felt deeply and appreciated endlessly.

To every mother, grandmother, and mother figure connected to LHLF — thank you for your strength, your sacrifice, and your unwavering love. You are truly the backbone of our communities.

Wishing you a peaceful, joyful, and well-deserved Mother’s Day filled with love and appreciation 💚

Today we take a moment to recognise and honour three dedicated members of LEDET who have reached the milestone of retirement — Jack Seakamela, James Baloi, and Riaan de Jager.

Between them, these gentlemen have devoted decades of service to environmental management and protection in Limpopo. Jack’s journey with LEDET began in 1993, while James has been in government service since as early as 1982, with the two working closely together in the Environment sector since 1998. Their shared commitment and partnership over the years have left a lasting impact on the department and the work they have done.

James Baloi, who many will remember from his time in Polokwane before transferring to Mokopane, has been a steady and valued presence throughout his career. Likewise, Riaan de Jager, who has served since the early 1990s within the Directorate of Environmental Compliance and Enforcement, has played a key role as a District Head, contributing significantly to environmental governance in the province.

Their years of dedication, experience, and passion have helped shape the environmental landscape we know today. The legacy they leave behind will continue to inspire those who follow in their footsteps.

We thank them for their invaluable service and wish them all the very best in this new chapter of life. May it be filled with rest, good health, and many new adventures.

LHLF – Limpopo Hunters Liaison Forum

The Limpopo Hunters Liaison Forum (LHLF) remains committed to protecting, promoting, and uniting the interests of ethical hunters, landowners, outfitters, and stakeholders across Limpopo Province.

Through open communication and constructive engagement with conservation authorities, industry bodies, and government, LHLF works to ensure that hunting remains sustainable, responsible, and firmly rooted in sound conservation principles.
