The Balobedu Royal Council hereby issues this statement following yesterday’s High Court judgment dismissing the urgent application brought to halt the opening of initiation schools authorised under the leadership of Her Majesty Queen Masalanabo Modjadji VII. The judgment reaffirmed the lawful authority of the reigning Monarch and confirmed that the institution of the Queenship remains vested in Her Majesty as the recognised sovereign on the throne.
