CDM WITNESS SANDF CHANGE OF COMMAND PARADE OFFICIAL PROGRAMME

Today, the Whip of Council, Cllr Matome Masoga, represented the Executive Mayor, Cllr Mamedupi Teffo, at the South African National Defence Force (SANDF) Regional Works Unit Limpopo Change of Command Parade held at the SA Army Support Base Limpopo, Gateway Airport in Polokwane.

The occasion marked the official farewell to the outgoing Officer Commanding Captain (SA Navy) Solly Mashigo, while also welcoming the incoming Officer Commanding Colonel Lundi Ncubukezi.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Captain Mashigo for his dedicated service and leadership, and wish Colonel Ncubukezi success as he assumes his new responsibilities.

CDM HOSTS COUNCIL IMBIZO AT MAHLATJANE.

During the Imbizo, community members raised several key issues affecting their areas, including the need for RDP houses, the non-availability of community halls, poor road infrastructure, water supply challenges, the lack of clinics, inadequate street lighting, and increasing crime.

Councillors responded to the concerns raised by residents, providing feedback on ongoing interventions and plans to address the challenges. They assured the community that other issues would be referred to the relevant departments and stakeholders for further attention and action.

The Executive Mayor Cllr. Mamedupi Teffo, Mayor of Lepelle-Nkumpi Municipality Cllr. Dr Merriam Molala, CDM Council Speaker Cllr. Kholofelo Lehong, Whip of Council Cllr.
