📢 ATTENTION PARENTS: Grade R Registration for 2027 is Now OPEN! 📢

Secure your child’s spot for the 2027 academic year. Don't wait until the last minute—spaces fill up fast!⚖️

Why This Year is Different: The BELA Act

Under the Basic Education Laws Amendment (BELA) Act, Grade R is now officially compulsory across South Africa.

The Act states:

"School attendance is compulsory from Grade R at age six and no longer only from Grade 1..."

“By law, parents/guardians must ensure their children attend school during this period. Non-compliance... may lead to penalties.”

Because of this legal requirement, enrolling your child on time is more critical than ever to ensure they are formally registered within the system.

🎒 Who Needs to Register?

Any child turning six years old in 2027 (born in 2021).

📝 Documents Required for Application

Please bring along certified copies of the following:

* Learner’s Birth Certificate
* Parents' ID documents
* Proof of residence (e.g., municipal rates account or lease agreement)
* Learner’s Immunisation/Clinic Card
