📢 LEARNERSHIP OPPORTUNITY – CIVIL CONSTRUCTION

Dear Residents,

An opportunity is available for unemployed residents aged 18–45 from the Alex Matikinca Cluster to apply for an Accredited Learnership in Civil Construction – NQF Level 3 (140 Credits).

The programme aims to provide training, mentoring and skills development to improve employment opportunities and enable participants to progress to further qualifications.

✅ MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• Unemployed
• Age 18–45 years
• Minimum Grade 11
• Resident within the Alex Matikinca Cluster

📄 DOCUMENTS REQUIRED

Applicants must submit:

• Detailed CV
• Certified copy of ID
• Certified copies of qualifications – not older than 3 months
• Cover letter
• Proof of residence indicating your Ward number and signed by your Councillor

WARD 57 | RESTORING DIGNITY THROUGH ACTION

Today, Ward 57 Councillor Zanele Boyana continued working with the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality to ensure that families affected by shack fires receive practical assistance.

Building materials were delivered to 5 affected households today, with the remaining outstanding materials to be delivered as the process continues.

The affected areas include:

* Ndlovini Informal Settlement
* eDolweni Informal Settlement
* Vukani Informal Settlement
* Mpheko Street – affected household

For Councillor Zanele Boyana, this intervention is about more than materials. It is about restoring dignity, supporting families and ensuring that residents are not left alone when disaster strikes.

The work continues, and there are still households that require assistance. But today’s progress demonstrates what is possible when a councillor remains connected to the community and takes residents’ concerns forward.

Ward 57 is a community that deserves to be heard, supported and served.
