The ANCYL Tolomane Mnyayiza Region extends its revolutionary congratulations to our young women comrades on their appointment to lead the ANC Women’s League Youth Women’s Desk (ANCYWD) within the Tolomane Mnyayiza Region.

We congratulate Cde Nokuthaba Cele Regional Convenor ,Cde Pearl Nhlumayo Regional Coordinator and Cde Sibahle Zama RTT Member.
These appointments are not merely positions, but a call to greater political responsibility and service to the movement. They represent confidence in the capacity of young women to occupy strategic spaces, organise their generation and advance the struggle for the emancipation and development of young women.

The ANCYL Tolomane Mnyayiza Region is confident that these comrades will use their collective strength to deepen political education, strengthen organisation, mobilise young women and ensure that the voices and aspirations of young women remain firmly rooted in the programmes of the movement.

As young revolutionaries, we must continue to build an organisation capable of confronting unemployment, poverty, inequality and all forms of discrimination affecting young people and women in our communities.

The future of the movement belongs to those who organise, mobilise and serve.

The ANCYL TOLOMANE Mnyayiza Regional Deputy Secretary, Cde Vikizitha Ngcobo, visited Mshweshwe High School (ward 31) to engage with Grade 12 learners and leaders, demonstrating the commitment of the Youth League to supporting the Class of 2026 during their matric camp.

As part of this intervention, the ANCYL donated groceries to assist learners during the matric camp reaffirming that education is not only a responsibility of schools, but a collective responsibility of society and the movement.

The programme was undertaken alongside SANCO Khipha Nyawose Region, led by Treasurer Cde Steve Nkonyeni, together with Ward 31 Councillor Cde Melusi Tsauwulayo.

This is what it means to be a movement rooted in the lives of our people to organise, to serve and to build a better future for the youth.
The future belongs to those who prepare for it. Let us continue supporting the Class of 2026 as they strive for excellence.

As part of our commitment to education, youth development and social transformation, The Regional Deputy Secretary cde Vikizitha Ngcobo will led handover a Grocery Donation Drive for the Matric Camp at Mshweshwe high School, Ward31.
This is not merely a donation it is an expression of our political commitment to ensuring that working-class and poor young people are supported to realise their full potential.

Today, the ANCYL Tolomane Mnyayiza Region once again demonstrated that our commitment to the advancement of young people must be translated into concrete programmes on the ground.

The Regional Deputy Secretary, Cde Vikizitha Ngcobo, together with Ward Councillor Cde Thabiso Jingela, led a food donation programme in support of Matric Class of 2026 learners at Makhanda High School who are attending extra classes.

This programme is more than a donation. It is political action rooted in the commitment of the African National Congress to education, youth development and social transformation. We understand that many of our young people face material challenges that can affect their ability to learn. Therefore, the ANCYL must continue to be present where young people need support.
We call upon the Class of 2026 to remain disciplined, focused and committed to their studies. Your success is not only a personal achievement it contributes to the transformation and development of our communities.

successfully conducted an online voter registration drive as part of its ongoing mass mobilisation programme. The Regional Executive Committee, led by Deputy Secretary Cde Vikizitha Ngcobo and Cde Smubongile Ntaka, together with the Provincial Secretary of COSAS and the ANC leadership of Sponono Branch, led a decisive final push for online voter registration at Mlosthwa Secondary School in the Emzwabantu Sub-Region, Ward 2.

This intervention forms part of a radical mass mobilisation programme aimed at consolidating the political power of the youth at the ballot. The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) Tolomane Mnyayiza Region, led by Regional Secretary Cde Sanele Gumede, successfully hosted a Campus Voter Registration Drive at Esayidi TVET College, Gamalakhe Campus, on 06 August 2026.

This program forms part of the ANCYL’s ongoing mass mobilisation campaign aimed at ensuring that young people are at the center of shaping the future of our country. The initiative provided on-site assistance for online voter registration and extended door-to-door support within student residences to ensure that no young person is left behind.

The program was accompanied by ANC KZN PTT 2nd Deputy Convenor, Cde Siboniso Duma, together with ANC regional leadership, ANC Women’s League (ANCWL) leadership, and SASCO leadership, whose presence reaffirmed the importance of youth participation in the democratic process and the broader struggle to transform local government and the economy.

We urge all young people to take responsibility, register to vote, and actively participate in the upcoming 2026 Local Government Elections. The future of our communities depends on the choices we make today.

The African National Congress Youth League (ANCYL) Tolomane Mnyayiza Region successfully hosted an online voter registration drive at Esayidi TVET College Nyenyezi Campus (ward 21)as part of its ongoing programme to mobilise young people ahead of the 2026 Local Government Elections.

This important intervention was led by the ANCYL 1st Deputy Secretary General, Cde Zama Khanyase, together with the SASCO Regional Deputy Convenor, Cde Thandolwethu Myeza, demonstrating the unity of progressive youth formations in advancing the democratic participation of students.

The initiative focused on ensuring that students are fully registered and ready to exercise their democratic right to vote. Through direct engagement and on-site assistance, students were empowered with the necessary tools and information to register online and become active participants in shaping the future of their communities.

The ANCYL remains resolute in its mission to build a conscious, organised, and politically active youth. We call upon all young people to take responsibility and ensure that they are registered to vote.
