🚨 Child abuse is not always visible.

It can take many forms, and recognising the signs could help protect a child from ongoing harm. 💙 This Child Protection Week (29 May – 5 June), take a moment to learn the signs, start the conversation, and help protect a child.

The four main types of child abuse are:
🔴 Physical Abuse
🔴 Emotional Abuse
🔴 Sexual Abuse
🔴 Neglect

💙 Recognising abuse STARTS WITH US.
If you suspect that a child may be at risk, don't ignore it. Speak up. Report it. Seek help.

Through our WARMTH STARTS WITH US campaign, we collect winter essentials to help support those in need.

Too many children carry burdens no child should ever have to bear. 🥺 Children need protection from abuse, neglect, violence, hunger, exploitation, bullying, and the trauma of feeling unseen and unheard.

But protection does not only start in courtrooms or social work offices – it starts in homes, schools, churches, communities, and with ordinary people who choose to care. Every one of us has a role to play in protecting them. 🤗 Because children who feel safe create stronger communities.

It starts with us. ❤️
