I see many ANC people along with others who consider themselves intellectuals & Thabo Mbeki being their picture perfect poster of intellectualism, are all very angry when I sought Thabo Mbeki must also be questioned about his own acquaintance with apartheid's most dangerous spy Craig Williamson.
For example someone even tried to divert the topic by posting stats of Thabo Mbeki's presidency, these stats claiming amongst others that SAA was considered one of the best airlines in the world during Mbeki's presidency.
But we know that the american Coleman Andrews sold the SAA fleet at a fraction of it's value to his friends companies & then SAA leased back the same SAA airplanes he sold, leasing them at inflated prices. Andrews further hired his own company Bain & Co as an SAA consulting company & got R208 million for just 2 years as an SAA service provider & further paid himself a salary of over R200 million for just 2 years as SAA CEO. That's how SAA collapsed & all this occurred during Mbeki's presidency.

Thabo Mbeki as Executive Deputy President, got rid of the apartheid government exchange controls then allowed these apartheid era companies such as Anglo American owned by the Oppenhe
