🌈 What a proud moment for South Africa at WorldPride Amsterdam! Congratulations to South Africa's Deputy Minister of Women, Youth and Persons with Disabilities, Hon Mmapaseka Steve Letsike, on receiving the Emerging Leader award at the 2026 International Pride Awards.

It is fantastic to see South African leadership being recognised on a global stage as the Netherlands hosts in Amsterdam. The Netherlands and South Africa share a strong partnership rooted in values such as human rights, dignity and inclusion. Seeing South African leadership recognised on the world stage is a proud moment and a celebration of the work being done to advance equality.
