Goeie dag Hercules Gemeenskap – Sektore 1–4

Soos julle kan sien in die meegaande advertensie, het die nominasietydperk vir die vakante poste in die Hercules GPF Uitvoerende Komitee amptelik vandag begin.

Dit is uiters belangrik dat hierdie poste gevul word met toegewyde en betrokke lede.

’n Sterk en aktiewe Uitvoerende Komitee verseker beter koördinering, vinniger reaksie op misdaadvoorvalle en doeltreffende samewerking met SAPD en ander rolspelers.

Kom ons bou positief voort en werk saam aan misdaadvoorkoming in die Hercules-wyk. Jou betrokkenheid maak ’n werklike verskil – elke lid wat dien, dra by tot ’n veiliger gemeenskap.

Stel jouself beskikbaar, of nomineer iemand anders. Saam kan ons dit maak.

As you can see in the attached advertisement, the nomination period for the vacant positions in the Hercules CPF Executive Committee officially opened today.

It is extremely important that these positions are filled by dedicated and involved members who are willing to serve the community.

A strong and active Executive Committee ensures better coordination, faster response to crime incidents, and effective cooperation with the SAPS and other stakeholders.

Let us continue to build positively and work together on crime prevention in the Hercules area.

Your involvement makes a real difference – every member who serves contributes to a safer community.

Make yourself available, or nominate someone else. Together we can make it happen.

Daar is tans ’n onbestendige protesaksie in die area. Bande word sporadies gebrand, betogers vlug en hervat dan weer.

Vermy asseblief die volgende strate indien moontlik:
• Theo Slabbert
• Lüderitz

Van der Hoff is tans nog oop, maar word as hoë risiko beskou. Gebruik alternatiewe roetes waar moontlik.

Public Order Policing (POPS) is op die toneel en neem beheer van die situasie, met groot sigbaarheid van GPF, SAPS, Metro en private sekuriteit. Die situasie word aktief gemonitor.

Ons sal die gemeenskap op hoogte hou soos meer inligting beskikbaar raak. Bly veilig en wees waaksaam.

COMMUNITY ALERT

There is currently an unstable protest action in the area. Tyres are being burnt, Protesters stopping intermittently, then resuming again.

Please avoid the following roads if possible:
• Theo Slabbert
• Lüderitz

Van der Hoff Road is currently still open, but is considered high risk. Use alternative routes where possible.

Public Order Policing (POPS) is on scene and has taken control of the situation, with high visibility from GPF, SAPS, Metro Police and private security. The situation is being actively monitored.

The community will be kept informed as more information becomes available. Please remain alert and stay safe.
