UNICEF South Africa is recruiting a Child Health Specialist based in Pretoria.
This is an opportunity to help strengthen health systems and improve health outcomes for children, mothers and families across South Africa.

The role provides technical leadership and strategic guidance on:
• Child health and primary healthcare
• Immunisation and zero-dose children
• Health systems strengthening
• Maternal, newborn and child health
• HIV prevention and prevention of mother-to-child transmission
• Emergency preparedness, epidemic control and outbreak response
• Programme management, monitoring and evaluation
• Health data, planning and evidence-based programming
We are looking for health professionals with a strong track record in child health, immunisation, health systems strengthening, programme management, monitoring and evaluation, emergency preparedness and stakeholder engagement.
Key competencies include building and maintaining partnerships, driving results for impact, strategic thinking, innovation, managing complexity and working collaboratively.
