What if we asked learners to imagine their future?

We often ask young people what they want to become. But how often do we give them the space to imagine who they want to become?
hatfield recently spent time with Grade 7 learners at Kutumela Molefi Primary School, using vision boards to help them explore their dreams, aspirations and possibilities.

For us, this was more than a creative activity. It was about exposure, self-belief and helping young people see a future beyond their current circumstances.

Because sometimes, the first step towards achieving a dream is being given permission to dream it. ✨

Today, we honour the life and legacy of Nelson Rolihlahla Mandela, whose unwavering commitment to justice, compassion, and service continues to inspire generations.

At the Rotary Club of Hatfield, we believe that every act of kindness no matter how small, has the power to transform lives.

This Mandela Day, we encourage everyone to dedicate 67 minutes to serving others, strengthening our communities, and building a more peaceful and hopeful future.

Winter can be especially tough for those without the means to keep warm.

This morning, the Rotary Club of Hatfield delivered beanies and blankets to Kefilwe Thusano Empowerment in Pretoria West, generously donated by the amazing ladies of the Bronberg Team.

As the cold months approach, these gifts will bring much-needed warmth and comfort to those who need it most.

Here are a few pictures from .hatfield meeting the other day. We were joined by Linda, as well as two learners and their Deputy Principal from Bokgoni Technical High School. The learners were recently sponsored to attend RYLA.

Linda shared insights into her fundraising work supporting people living with disabilities, while the learners reflected on their experiences, learnings, and personal growth from the camp.

Both engagements were truly insightful, inspiring, and a reminder of the impact of leadership and service. ✨
