We are looking for a reliable Office Administrator. They will undertake administrative tasks, ensuring the rest of the staff has adequate support to work efficiently.
Key Purpose:
The role of administrator involves a great deal of multitasking. You will work with teams, oversee the operations within the company, manage groups, coordinate with management and engage in planning according to the needs of the company. If there is office resource or administrative issues, you will be the person expected to deal with them. Office admin will be responsible for supporting their organisation in a variety of ways including bookkeeping, communications, scheduling, data entry, secretarial services and much more.
Administrator duties:
~ Screening, answering and forwarding telephone calls
~ Manage correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages etc.)
~ Handle receptionist duties from time-to-time which includes meeting and greeting guests.
~ Type up letters and reports.
~ Organizing, arranging and coordinating meetings and take notes from them.
~ Manage agendas/travel arrangements/appointments etc. for the upper management
~ Management of office equipment
~ Maintaining a clean and enjoyable working environment
~ Handling external or internal communication or management systems
~ Managing clerical or other administrative staff
~ Assist colleagues whenever necessary
Requirements
~ Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant or relevant role
~ Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
~ Highly organized multitasking, who works well in a fast-paced environment
~ Willingness to learn and to grow with the company
~ Excellent organizational and leadership skills
~ Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
~ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
~ Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel);
scheduling appointments/updating calendars a must.
~ Typing skills
~ Matric preferred
~ Qualifications in Secretarial/Office Administration/Financial studies will be an advantage
