Oostvallei is marketed on an occupational - or life-right basis catering for the senior citizen between the ages of 50 and 80 years. A frail care unit is centrally located and available for any unforeseen emergencies. The friendly staff is on

standby 24 hours a day and residents can call for help through an emergency panic system. Home based care can be arranged and is managed and allocated by our competent staff. Security staff is on duty 24 hours per day at the single main entrance which is under camera surveillance. A concrete wall with a monitored electric fence surrounds the village. The entire village is also connected to a backup generator which gives residents added peace of mind and emotional security in case of a power failure. Due to the drastic price hikes in the past and also the following years, Oostvallei has decided to switch to a more reliable, renewable energy source. The electrical energy generation at Oostvallei is based on a solar photovoltaic (PV) installation, sufficient to meet the needs of the 120 homes in the estate. Oostvallei has the most exquisite gardens with its age-old trees and water streams which gives resident’s the peace of mind to go for a walk within the perimeters of the village at any time.
