🚨 JOHANNESBURG COMPLIANCE OPERATION CONTINUES | DAY 3
The National Regulator for Compulsory Specifications (NRCS) is continuing its coordinated compliance operation in Fordsburg and Hillbrow, Johannesburg, working alongside SAPS, the National Consumer Commission (NCC), BMA, Gauteng Economic Development and the Department of Health Environmental Inspection.
During today’s operation, various non-compliant products were identified, including power banks, cord extension sets, safety footwear, canned meat and frozen fishery products.
The ongoing operation forms part of the NRCS’s continued enforcement efforts to identify and remove non-compliant goods from the market while protecting consumers and promoting compliance with compulsory specifications.
The joint efforts of regulatory and law-enforcement authorities demonstrate a continued commitment to consumer safety, fair trade and a compliant marketplace.
