🏞️ Piet Viljoen Park in Fochville, along with public spaces such as Popo Molefe Stadium and Gert van Rensburg Stadium, should be clean, safe and welcoming places for residents to enjoy — not symbols of municipal neglect.

Last week, Carlos Rebelo, the DA Mayoral candidate for Merafong, visited Piet Viljoen Park among other public spaces to inspect its deteriorating condition.

Merafong residents deserve public spaces they can be proud of. A DA-led Merafong will prioritise maintaining parks, stadiums and community infrastructure instead of allowing them to deteriorate. 😡
