ANC SEDIBENG MANIFESTO LAUNCH

On 06 September 2026, we take our Localised Manifesto directly to the community of Ratanda.

The manifesto will outline our commitments and priorities for the community, informed by the needs raised by residents, while giving an account of the ANC’s record in government.

From improved basic services and infrastructure to job creation, investment, support for SMMEs, youth development and community facilities, we will account for the progress made and outline what more must be done.

ANC Sedibeng REC Engages Ratanda Stakeholders 🖤💚💛

ANC Sedibeng Regional Leadership, led by cdes Mlungisi Hlongwane and Jason Mkhwane, joined ANC NEC member Cde Sibongile Besani in the Lesedi Zone, Ratanda, Heidelberg, as part of ongoing engagements with local stakeholders.

The visit is focused on listening directly to residents, volunteers and community representatives, understanding the challenges confronting Ratanda, and gaining a clearer picture of the issues affecting people on the ground.

The engagement is part of the ANC’s commitment to strengthening its connection with communities and ensuring that the concerns of residents inform the organisation’s work and interventions.

Today’s visit was to give branches the opportunity to discuss the issues they face in the community and respective branches that have led to the recent unrest in Lesedi. The meeting also discussed the plans that are currently put in motion to restore the organisation, resolve service delivery backlogs, and focus all our energy on the upcoming Local Government Elections.
