🚨 ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL RECOVERY BY DTE PROTECTION TRU! 🚨
On 5 August 2026, our Control Room received an urgent call for assistance after a truck had been the target of an attempted hijacking. The suspects fled the scene after abandoning the vehicle and had already started stripping valuable parts from the truck.
Without hesitation, our Tactical Response Unit (TRU) was dispatched to the last known location. Acting swiftly, our members located the abandoned truck on the roadside, where it had been left vulnerable and partially stripped.
Our TRU officers immediately secured the scene, protected the remaining assets, and maintained control of the vehicle until the owners arrived with a tow truck to recover it safely.
Thanks to the rapid response, professionalism, and dedication of our team, another vehicle was successfully recovered and further losses were prevented.
