Child Protection Week 2026 | St Michael’s Primary School

We commend Royal Bafokeng Nation for leading a impactful awareness campaign under the theme: _“Safeguarding Children from Harm and Building a Safer Community”_ at St Michael’s Primary School.

Beyond the Change Foundation was honoured to participate as a key stakeholder, represented by Mr Itireleng Semausu, Operational Manager, and Ms Refilwe Sebitlo, Treasurer. Our presence reflects our ongoing commitment to child protection, the prevention of abuse, and the promotion of safer schools and communities.

Together with partners including Khulisa Social Solutions, CAN/SA, and other stakeholders, we continue to raise awareness on child sexual abuse, bullying, and behavioural challenges – because protecting children today secures their future tomorrow.

Theme: GOVERNANCE, MANAGEMENT & LEADERSHIP

Beyond the Change Foundation is represented by Ms Kgothatso Enerstecia Seipati at this week’s SAAYC Club Board Members’ training. The session is focused on strengthening leadership, governance, and programme delivery within youth clubs.

This training equips board members with the knowledge and tools to guide their clubs effectively, uphold accountability, and sustain youth-led initiatives in their communities. Through interactive discussions and practical learning, participants are building stronger foundations for impactful leadership.
