The African National Congress (ANC) Rustenburg Local Elections Team continued its voter registration campaign in Phatsima, Ward 01, engaging directly with community members and encouraging eligible residents to register and participate in the democratic process.
The campaign was strengthened by the presence of leaders from the ANC and Alliance structures, including ANC PEC Member Cde. Sussana Dantjie, SANCO NEC Member Cde. Nwabisa Thwesha, SANCO Regional Chairperson Cde. Brian Phiri, COSATU Representative Cde. Eunice Nkashe, the RET Coordinator Cde. Matthew Wolmarans, and the LET Manager Cde. Calvin Hlotse. Their participation, alongside dedicated ANC members, Alliance activists, and local supporters, demonstrated a shared commitment to strengthening democracy and ensuring that every eligible voter has an opportunity to make their voice heard.
The team engaged residents on the importance of voter registration. Community members were encouraged to ensure that their registration details are up to date and to take part in the upcoming Local Government Elections on 04 November 2026.
Following the voter registration drive, the delegation proceeded to the Zion Christian Church, where they joined congregants and community members in a spirit of fellowship and unity. The visit underscored the importance of working together with faith-based organisations and community structures in building stronger, more cohesive communities.
The ANC remains steadfast in its efforts to reach every community, encourage voter participation, and work alongside residents in building a better future for all.
