What an eventful start to September, with this magical sighting, Lion in a tree. This occurence usually takes place during the warmer months and one that we refer to as a Zululand Xmas Tree.

Right Now: Yet another amazing Lion sighting today.

Did you know that a Lioness getation period is a mere 3,5 to 4 months and that generally a Lioness would give birth to between 2 to 4 cubs, and that she will keep the cubs hidden for up to 8 weeks before introducing them to the pride.

This morning in the Hluhluwe Game Reserve so far, some incredible sightings (Lion & Cheetah), huge thanks to Heritage Tours & Safaris for sharing.

Early mornings are truly amazing in the park always try and get in as early as possible not only is it quieter, more scenic but with a chance of the predators being more active as well.
