Umdoni Action Group UAG's attempts since 2015 to engage positively with Umdoni Municipality have been futile, so UAG has commenced a Rates Diversion initiative.

One of UAG’s strategies is its "Save Umdoni" petition, which was launched in Nov 2015 to gather support for UAG's aims https://www.gopetition.com/petitions/save-umdoni.html A paper-based version of this petition was simultaneously launched which has, surprisingly, been more successful than the online one. To date, UAG has accumulated 2185 signatures of support: 353 online; 1832 paper-based. Steps are being taken to increase this support and new online signatures are welcome. Constitution

I am tired......

Actually I lie.

I am very, very, very tired.......

Of going to bed and trying to convince myself that all is OK, when it isn’t.

Of keeping my big mouth shut because it is the PC (politically correct) thing to do, only it isn’t right.

Of pretending that South Africa is in a good space when we are rotting away in that boiling frogs 🐸 jar.

Why do I have to shut up and suck up all the abuse purely because I have a very little bit of money and I am white????

I pay a disproportionately high percentage of the salaries of the corrupt Umdoni Municipality’s councilors.

I get NOTHING for my payment.

But I must shut up and accept that because it is “WRONG” to speak out???

I must shut my trap when the people appointed to represent me abuse that trust and do not provide me with what I pay for???

For you know what’s sake people, WAKE UP AND TAKE A STAND!!!!

Or shut up and accept you are just a useless number in a system that is stacked against you.

Plain and simple, if you are still paying your rates and taxes, you had better have a very good reason or else you are actually just as bad as the cadre deployees at Umdoni Municipality.

You that are still paying your rates and taxes are actually my enemy, because you are tacitly supporting the corruption.

In unity is strength.
