Motor Vehicle Accident – P200 South of Izotsha

Med~Evac Emergency Services responded to a serious motor vehicle accident on the P200 south of Izotsha after a truck left the roadway and descended down an embankment.

The vehicle was carrying three occupants, two of whom were trapped inside the wreckage.

Once freed, all patients were assessed, stabilised and treated on scene before being transported to appropriate medical facilities for further care.

A fallen tree obstructed traffic and was removed before the road was reopened.

We would like to commend all emergency service personnel involved for their teamwork and dedication in ensuring a successful rescue under challenging circumstances.

Motorists are urged to exercise caution on wet and slippery roads, reduce speed, and remain alert to changing road conditions.
