We had a great time at American Corner Soweto for a Super Bowl Watch Party at Maponya Mall Community Hub. 🏈

The gathering brought together our partners, youth leaders, sports organizations, alumni and community to connect and experience a cornerstone of American culture through game highlights, trivia, and conversation.

American football, like other sports, represents teamwork, perseverance, and community spirit - values that Soweto’s own legacy embodies. Thanks to the U.S. Consul General Stephanie Bunce and her team for joining us. We learned a lot and are new fans of American football. 🇺🇸 🇿🇦

We're celebrating one year of impact, growth, and community engagement at the American Corner Soweto. The American Spaces program has been present in Soweto for 50 years and is excited about our newest partnership with the Maponya Mall Community Hub.
