The fearless leader in our community is gone. One of the people who fought the struggle of service delivery in our town, we started with him back in 2012. He was one of those who made it a point that Home affairs services are brought back in town and he volunteeredto fight crime and drugs that seems to be a big problem in sterkspruit. It is with great sadness that the national lottery donated these food parcels to people of sterkspruit as a whole who were unfortunately suffered loss of their properties due to storms we encountered few months ago. what made this good initiative to be not effective is because of the cruel leadership in our region who took it as a secret in order their own favorites can only be them to receive.

This is other reasons we as SCA believe we cannot be free until our people are treated with dignity and respect.
Corruption, nepotism and favoritism is still going to be with us if our people still vote for the ruling party.

We need to go back to the drawing board, stakeholders and community at large this is going to kill us and need urgent attention.

Sterkspruit Robbery with a fire arm Gravel Road between Manxeba and Mei

According to complainant ...............he was doing deliveries with MV JGP503EC for OK Supermarket at Manxeba A/A to a Spaza Shop. On his way back at 10:30 just after a drift before Silindini A/A he noticed a Isuzu Bakkie approaching and he had to drove to the side of the road. He then heard gunshots and saw that his vehicle was hit. He then saw two bravo males with fi****ms and balaglavas alighted from the vehicle and pointed him with the firearm and demanding money. They took the cash (R15100-00) and his cellphone. They also instructed him to go into their vehicle and told him to keep his head down. The drove back to the direction of Manxeba and he was dropped near Hlomendlini A/A. He had to walk back until May Village where he got assistance from a Spaza Shop to call for help. The suspects was Sesotho speaking.

Suspects used same modus operandi that was used at St.Teressa(Palmietfontein) and Herschel A/A.

Sterkspruit civic Association sends its heartfelt condolences to the family and friends of Miss Middy Mazenge

She played a great role for the People of Senqu and joe Gqabi district as she recently held her yearly event of Sterkspruit Miss plus size. Zidlekhaya crafts as Miss Mazenge baby represented us as Sterkspruit and South Africa in Denmark to showcase her skills in the few past years and for that we will always be greatful SIYABONGA NKOSAZANA.

How we as Sterkspruit civic Association wish our local government could have an eye to all these young people without their political affiliation to enhance them financially in order their skills to expand to even broader countries not only in South Africa.
