New Directions for Offenders - Pty Ltd t/a Get Real We are a dynamic organisation that focuses on and aims to touch and transform the lives of the youth, who are incarcerated in South African prisons.

New Directions is a dynamic organisation that focuses on and aims to touch and transform the lives of the youth (aged 16 to 24), who are incarcerated in South African prisons. Many of these young men come from broken homes in disadvantaged communities and resort to crime as the only way out of their circumstances. One of the most heartbreaking things is the ongoing cycle of crime in which they are caught up, including gangsterism and drugs.

New Directions is desperately in need of financial support to cover essential operational costs; namely a small stipend for the God-parents, a small allowance for each of the young men at Oasis House, funds towards rent, groceries, lights and water and travelling costs to and from Drakenstein Prison.
