Silence protects abuse. Awareness empowers communities.

From 25 November to 10 December 2026, Tongaat Child Welfare Society will support the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender-Based Violence campaign by raising awareness about violence and abuse, encouraging informed action and standing in solidarity with survivors.

Together, we can help build safer homes, stronger families and communities free from violence.

Together, we can make a difference. 🇳🇵🤝

Religion Without Borders, in collaboration with Tongaat Child Welfare, is coordinating a humanitarian relief collection for communities in Nepal.

We are collecting:

🍚 Non-perishable food
🧥 Clean clothing and blankets
🧼 Toiletries and hygiene products
🩹 First-aid items and essential supplies

Please note that this is a non-monetary collection. No funds will be accepted—only physical items.

Humanitarian Aid Simulation Training Exercise

Tongaat Child and Family Welfare Society was honoured to host the Save the Children Africa Simulation Training Exercise in Response to Humanitarian Aid.

The programme provided valuable practical learning and insight into effective humanitarian response, preparedness and coordination.

A sincere thank you to Save the Children Africa for sharing your knowledge, expertise and valuable contribution towards strengthening humanitarian aid and building more resilient communities.

Together, we continue to learn, prepare and respond better in times of need.
