“Anything but apartheid.”

In this powerful interview, OR Tambo speaks firmly against the apartheid system, emphasizing that South Africa could embrace any future except one built on racial oppression. He criticizes the apartheid government’s lack of genuine commitment to negotiations, highlighting the continued imprisonment of Nelson Mandela and other political prisoners as evidence of its unwillingness to pursue meaningful dialogue.

A reminder of the courage, vision, and unwavering leadership of OR Tambo in the struggle for a democratic and free South Africa.

A legacy of sacrifice, a future of dignity. ✊🏾

As we commemorate the heroes and heroines of the Ingquza Hill Revolt, we also celebrate a meaningful investment in the well-being of our veterans. The donation and official handover of a Quantum by the Premier will enhance mobility, support community outreach, and ensure that the stories and legacy of the Mpondo resistance continue to reach future generations.

Honouring the past. Empowering those who keep the history alive.
