Empowering Literacy Champions ! 📚✨

We are thrilled to share the success of our recent training by the FLP team! From 16–20 March 2026, we brought together dedicated ECD and Foundation Phase teachers to be trained as Reading Champions using the evidence-based Reach Out to Read programme and its proven methodologies.

It was an incredible week as we equipped 18 passionate educators with the tools to make reading a transformative experience for young learners.

Before the ROtR Programme, Grade 1 learners across different schools were assessed using EGRA (Early Grade Reading Assessment) to understand their reading abilities and comprehension to identify areas needing support.

After implementing ROtR, the results tell a powerful story — growth, improvement, and stronger reading foundations for our young learners. 📚

These numbers represent more than data. They represent children gaining confidence, skills, and a love for reading.
