From 9 to 11 March 2026, the classrooms of Verulam Secondary School came alive with conversation, connection and learning as the Verulam Child and Family Welfare Society hosted a vibrant three-day Life Skills Programme, giving learners practical tools to face life’s challenges with greater confidence and awareness.

Sometimes, comfort comes with paws, fluff and a little bit of magic. 🧸✨

Thanks to a kind-hearted anonymous donor, some very special new friends found their way into little arms — ready for cuddles, adventures and plenty of smiles.

A beautiful reminder that kindness doesn’t have to be grand to leave a lasting impression. 💛

A little generosity can go a long way. 💚

Through the support of WOOLWORTHS, families within our community received much-needed food assistance during the final months of 2025 — bringing relief, dignity and care where it was needed most.

We are deeply grateful for partnerships that help us continue showing up for vulnerable children, individuals and families. Together, we can turn everyday kindness into meaningful impact.

Our Foster Parent Programme is about more than providing information — it is about equipping, supporting and empowering foster parents as they navigate the responsibility of caring for vulnerable children.

By strengthening foster families, we help create safer, more stable and nurturing homes where children can thrive. 🌱

A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated Social Services team and every foster parent who continues to open their home and heart to a child in need.

The Verulam Child and Family Welfare Society has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting foster families through a two-part parenting programme aimed at strengthening relationships between foster parents and children.
