Male S*x Worker Confronts Parents: Durban - KZN

This BodyCam footage (Device No. 097) has been cropped to protect the identities of those involved.

Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) received a call from a resident on the north coast of Durban in eThekwini, KZN (address withheld) requesting assistance after an unknown male allegedly arrived at a private residence, harassed the occupants, and refused to leave.

Reaction Officers were immediately dispatched and, on arrival, found the male standing on the driveway. The homeowner and his wife remained inside the residence while Officers interviewed him (see video)

The male alleged that he had been instructed by the homeowner’s son to collect R100 for s*xual services he had previously provided. He identified himself as a male s*x worker and stated that he first met the son several months ago. According to him, they had since met on a weekly basis at a nearby park.

He further alleged that during their most recent encounter, the son requested oral s*x but claimed he did not have the money to pay. The service was allegedly rendered, and he was instructed to collect the outstanding payment from his residence on month-end, Friday, 31 July 2026.

When the male arrived at the property, the son was not present. His parents denied any knowledge of the allegations and disputed the s*x worker’s account. They informed Officers that their son had left the residence before their arrival.

Reaction Officers instructed the male to vacate the property. However, before he was escorted off the premises, one of the parents attempted to contact their son telephonically. Following that, the outstanding R100 was paid to the complainant.

The details of the discussion between the son and his parents were not documented by Reaction Officers.

The BodyCam footage had been edited to remove sensitive information.
