How can you apply?

2. Visit our centre in Vredendal, C/o Van der Stel & Koöperasie Street.

Membership includes:
- 24 Hour Emergency Medical Response for up to 6 people per family (residing on the same plot)
- Emergency Medical Treatment by highly qualified paramedics
- Patient Stabilisation
- Emergency Ambulance Transport for all members from within the Matzikama Region to the nearest medical facility
- One free repatriation from the hospital by ambulance per year (Matzikama operational area)
- R60 per additional member over 6 members (residing on the same plot)
- No visitors to members are covered

The two-thumb encircling hand technique is the preferred method for delivering chest compressions and thrusts to infants (under 1 year old) during CPR.

It is recommended because it provides better blood flow, deeper compressions, and causes less fatigue than the two-finger method.
