OPENBARE KENNISGEWING: KREDIETBEHEER EN BETALINGSREËLINGS
Matzikama Munisipaliteit se Finansiële Bestuur bevestig dat kredietbeheermaatreëls toegepas is op munisipale rekeninge wat ná 30 September 2026 steeds agterstallig was.
Hierdie maatreëls is opgehef ten opsigte van inwoners wat tussen 1 en 13 Oktober 2026 hul agterstallige rekeninge vereffen het, of ’n afbetalingsreëling by die Finansiële Kantoor getref het.
Die munisipaliteit bly verbind tot die nakoming van toepaslike wetgewing en verantwoordelike finansiële bestuur. Die Kredietbeheerbeleid bly daarom van krag en sal steeds toegepas word.
Inwoners met agterstallige rekeninge word aangemoedig om die Finansiële Kantoor te besoek om ’n afbetalingsreëling te tref. Ons finansiële span staan gereed om inwoners met die proses te help.
PUBLIC NOTICE: CREDIT CONTROL AND PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS
Matzikama Municipality’s Financial Management confirms that credit control measures were applied to municipal accounts that remained in arrears after 30 September 2026.
These measures were lifted for residents who settled their overdue accounts between 1 and 13 October 2026, or who entered into a payment arrangement at the Finance Office.
The municipality remains committed to complying with applicable legislation and ensuring responsible financial management. The Credit Control Policy therefore remains in force and will continue to be implemented.
Residents with overdue accounts are encouraged to visit the Finance Office to make a payment arrangement. Our finance team is ready to assist residents with this process.
