Rain. I send the rain on the crops of those who are good and evil. I am the creator of the heavens. I established space, time, matter, and most of all, you. I am limitless. I am good. I am the one you were made to chase in the morning, the one you were meant to find in the twilight. I will establish the kingdom of my righteousness forever - and you will be my most prized possession in it.

Let the shining light of my abundance now begin to fill you. I will give you enough. You will have everything in Me that you desire, for have I not declared that I am a good Father? Wait now upon the healing rains that will come upon my people. I have given instruction that you are not to be harmed. You will be kept protected from all sides, and I myself will walk with you all the days of your life. You have found favour with me, nothing can separate us ever, we will walk in the shadows of the stars in joy and laughter. Pain will fade away and My glory in you will remain. I have sought you out like a pearl from an oyster, and I will adorn you with the finest of my kingdom riches.

Wherever you go you will bring tides of rejuvenation. You have asked for much, now I will grant you all that and more. See now, my loved one, I always intended for us to be as one. Let the whisper of my breath now carry you on tides of grace and love, until we meet face to face in a warm embrace.

To walk where no man has ever walked is your calling. To reach for things no man has reached is your destiny.

To stumble on an overgrown path is nothing to be ashamed of. For that is where the true victory lies, the path least taken - on the unknown road through the wilderness and beyond.

What use is it stepping in the footsteps of those going nowhere in particular? Fame and fortune are soon forgotten, but the deeds of the humble are etched in the hearts of those they live amongst.

So take up your chisel, and begin again tomorrow - to etch words of love and caring on the hearts of those around you who need it most. Do not look back, for you have Who you need right by your side.

The mind, a construction of intricate biological phenomena, woven together in a symphony of electricity and delicate chemicals. The seat of reason, yet not of the soul, the foothold of the body, but not of the heart.

Never have we known such an instrumental yet fallible thing. The stage of both fantasy and reason, of purpose and wanderlust in concert. Always fighting for a spot in the light, are the shimmers of worries on a moonlit night in the conscience. Yet, like a swan spreading its wings, the beauty of it all cannot be denied.

I wonder, in this self-reflection of mine, do I truly know in the depth of experience the delight of that which stares back in self-contemplation? Yes, this beauty of the mind.

A seafarer on the open seas, sailing into the unknown, would know many stormy nights, with only the level of fresh water in the barrel counting the days, weeks, months since last he kissed his family goodbye.

With little hope in sight, drifting on windless days and restless nights, the seafarer would have despaired of ever seeing the sight of land or even the smell of land air.

So it would be that many a seafarer cried, in the early mornings, "my Lord, my God, where are thee? If only You would shine a guiding light to show my path and fill my heart with the hope of joy." Surely this call was answered.

So I call now, on this land, "my Lord, my God, where are thee? If only you would shine a light on this country that would fill this land with the rush of your breath, and the bread from your table."

Rushing, rushing, rushing. Here and there, hither and dither. No time to waste, no time to stand still. Look in the mirror and see the tiredness. Where are we running to my friend?

Should this world not be a joy to live in, our existence an expression of fun and laughter? Where has the play gone? Where is the sunlight?

Stand still and know... you are intensely loved. Stand still and be who you always knew you should be. A whisper through the grass, a flower in the meadow, a light of radiance in darkness, a voice of hope to the lost, and, most of all, a song of delight in the shadows of night.

Perspective

It can change the world. We may often ask, why stick to the commands of scriptures?

Well, it's simple really, because that way we are receptive to the knowledge that can change our perspective on a matter - to the extent that we transcend our earlier frame of mind and move into a totally new way of thinking on a matter.

Scriptures define the path to take along which knowledge and wisdom can be best observed and applied. It is like the guide rope along a mountain path - follow it and it might feel tough, let go and you probably will get lost.

Note that those who appear to have 'made it' without holding on to this guidance rope of scriptures have usually not found the top of the mountain - no, they are stuck in a kind-of nice looking valley that they will probably grow bored of in due time and then have to do the work to backtrack and go on.

So don't lose time, this path leads to exactly where you want to go without needing to take detours. Lead the way.

In the depths of hurt, many may focus on themselves. Consider the idea that, perhaps, in speaking encouragement to others in such a time, we encourage ourselves.

The words of healing we pray over others may be the seeds of healing for our own heart. The giving to others may be the very thing that opens our hearts to receive again.

2 Cor 8 TPT

2For even during a season of severe difficulty and tremendous suffering, they became even more filled with joy. From the depths of their extreme poverty, super-abundant joy overflowed into an act of extravagant generosity. 3 For I can verify that they spontaneously gave, not only according to their means but far beyond what they could afford.

1 Cor 13:4-5 TPT Love is large and incredibly patient....Love is not easily irritated or quick to take offense.

I leaned over the edge, to take a closer look. At the bottom of the stream, there glistened something of delicate and pure beauty. It shown with the innocence of unconditional love, it knew not harm, it knew only the caressing touch of the deepest cold waters.

Deep in this seat of beauty, I laid eyes on the purest beauties of them all. A pearl of splendour, a pearl of might, and, a pearl of intense Love.

This is the one I shall call to in the stillness of the mornings. "Come, come to me and make me yours!"
