💜 CELEBRATING WOMEN | WOMEN’S DAY LADIES MORNING TEA SEMINAR 💜
On Tuesday, 25 August 2026, Child Welfare South Africa: White River had the privilege of bringing together an incredible group of women for a beautiful morning of connection, wellness, empowerment, reflection and celebration at BOSSA Restaurant, Nelspruit.
Our gathering was centred around the many different roles women play in welfare and wellness within our communities — as social workers, house mothers, caregivers, counsellors, advocates, professionals, mothers, mentors and pillars of support. We wanted to create a space where the women who spend so much of their time caring for others could pause, breathe, connect and be reminded that they too deserve to be cared for, heard, supported and celebrated. 💜
We were incredibly honoured to hear from our wonderful guest speakers:
🌸 Akeso Nelspruit – Mental Health & Emotional Wellness
🌸 Lifeline Nelspruit – Emotional Well-being, Counselling, Psychosocial Support & Crisis Intervention
🌸 SAPS White River – Gender-Based Violence, Women’s Safety & Psychosocial Support
🌸 Yuki Manjate – Provincial Mpumalanga Miss 1st Runner-Up 2025 – Inspiration & Empowerment
🌸 Leni Snyman – Pastoral Counselling – Faith & Wellness
Each contribution brought a unique perspective and reminded us of the importance of self-awareness, emotional wellness, personal safety, resilience, faith and intentional self-care.

What started as an idea to create a small space for women in welfare became a morning filled with laughter, learning, vulnerability, encouragement, connection and sisterhood.
And yes… we intend to do it again next year! 🎉
Hopefully, bigger, better and even more impactful, while never losing the heart behind it:
To celebrate the women who care for others.
To remind them to care for themselves.
To empower them.
To support them.
And to let them know that they are never alone.
