OVER 600 LUANSHYA RESIDENTS MOURN WITH THE KAMBWILIS IN CHINGOLA

Today 20th October 2024,

Hundreds of Luanshya Residents join Mourners in Chingola at SDA for the Funeral of Pastor Mutale Kambwili and Mr Mwamba Kambwili, Brothers to former Roan Constituency Member Of parliament and Minister of Information Dr. Chishimba Kambwili

The residents were part of the Luanshya Patriot Front members who extended an invitation to the general Public in Luanshya and created a platform for them to Go and mourn with the Kambwili Family.

The two brothers met their fate last week on Tuesday when they were escorting their Brother Hon. Chishimba Kambwili who was set to appear in court.

Present at the funeral leading the Party officials was His excellency Sixth Republican President Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu with MCCs and Senior Party officials. At District level the party was lead by District Chairman Mr Golden Mulenga.

The party wishes to thank party members and Luanshya residents who turned up in numbers and travel to Chingola to mourn with the Kambwili’s.

We pray for the hon. Dr. Chishimba Kambwili who is still admitted to Maina soko Hospital seeking Medical attention. We wish him Gods Blessing and a quick recovery...

Today Luanshya Mayoral Candidate
Melvis Chomba joined Patriotic Front Presidential campaign Manager Dr. Chishimba Kambwili as he toured Roan and Mpatamatu Markets and distributed face masks and hand sanitisers to marketeers and the general public.

Dr. Kambwili further Educated the people who gathered no how to keep themselves and use the Covid Prevention material that he distributed properly and safely.

FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Compatriots,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of Mr Albert Kabaso, our former Treasurer for Luanshya Constituency and who until his death was a member of the PF District Mobilization Committee.

Mr Kabaso suddenly felt unwell on Wednesday and was rushed to Roan General Hospital where he got admitted until his death last evening. The Party in the District has lost a loyal and dedicated member who served the party with distinction and pride!

We shall miss Mr Kabaso’s fatherly love to all of us and his unique leadership style that was anchored on preaching love and unity. We have lost a great man who we relied on as a mountain of wisdom!

On behalf of the party functionaries in the district, I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, the Catholic Immaculate Conception Parish Leadership and Parishioners, Roan Antelope Golf Club and indeed to all Luanshya residents who knew and interacted with our late leader.

Funeral is being held at his house in KL (former Serioes houses) area off Democracy street in Kamirenda.

Burial arrangements will be communicated through this page once the program is set and advised to us by the family and the church.

FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

Morning Compatriots,
It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of Mrs Evelyn Kabwe Musonda the Chairlady for Mpelembe Ward 3 of Luanshya Constituency.

Mrs Musonda who suddenly collapsed and died yesterday in Lusaka was a loyal and dedicated member who served the party with distinction. Her contribution to the party was recognized by other leaders who as a result entrusted her with a senior position of Ward Chairlady the post she held until her demise.

We shall miss Evelyn’s motherly love to all and her aggressive approach towards women empowerment in making sure that our women become self reliant through enterprenueship.

On behalf of the party functionaries in the district, I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of our deceased leader.

Funeral is being held at house, No. 74 Riverside Avenue near Luanshya Trust Sch.

*Patrotic Front Luanshya District and Constituency Youth Executive Covid 19 sensitisation*

The Youths of Luanshya District and Constituency took time today to sensitize marketeers on the importance of washing hand as a fight against Covid 19.

The Youths also donated various items including 10 x 70ltr buckets, hand washing soap, hand sanitizers and 200 masks to the marketeers and emphasized the need for marketeers to adhere to directives given by His Excellency the President Dr Edgar Chagwa Lungu and the guidelines of the Minister of Health Dr Chitalu Chilufya

Leading the group was the District Youth chairperson cllr James Mwewa together with his Vice Cllr Mulenga Chakulya and Luanshya Constituency Youth Chairperson Cllr Eugine Chuba

FUNERAL ANNOUNCEMENT

It is with a heavy heart that I announce the death of our brother and comrade Mwange Chiwala who died yesterday at Thompson Hospital in Luanshya.

The late Mr Mwange has been an industrious Mechanic for a long time spanning from the days he worked for the mines and later went on to establish his own company that created employment for a good number of our youths in the District.
The PF leadership is at pain on the loss of our faithful Mechanic who worked on the PF vehicles with diligence and professionalism. We shall indeed miss the late Mr Mwange for being a true servant who needed no supervision whenever he was given a task.

On behalf of the party leadership in the district, I would like to extend our heartfelt condolences to Mrs Mwange, the children, the entire family and indeed to His Worship the Mayor of Luanshya Mr Nathan Chanda, MCC.

I therefore want to direct all party functionaries in the District to join the family and relatives in mourning our late brother!

Funeral is being held at his home along Buntungwa Avenue after Luanshya Boys Secondary School.

Burial arrangements will be announced later!
