THE BATTLE FOR JUSTICE: ZAMBIAN CIVIL LIBERTIES UNION STANDS FIR AGAINST STATE HOUSE PRESSURE.
A battle for justice has unfolded, pitting the Zambian Civil Liberties Union (ZCLU) against the powerful forces from state house. At the center of the storm is Minister of Energy Peter Kapala, accused by the ZCLU of dubiously awarding a fuel contract to Transworld JV through Harvest Group. The case has sparked controversy and raised concerns about transparency and due process in government dealings.
The ZCLU, a respected non-governmental organization dedicated to upholding civil liberties and advocating for accountability, has taken a bold stance against what it perceives as an injustice.
