CHIPANGALI VOTER EDUCATION FACILITATORS URGED TO UPHOLD INTEGRITY AHEAD OF 2026 GENERAL ELECTIONS
Chipangali District Electoral Officer Ms. Faustina Manjombi has called on Voter Education Facilitators (VEFs) to uphold integrity, professionalism and impartiality as they prepare to conduct voter education activities ahead of the 13th August, 2026 General Elections.
Speaking during the closing ceremony of the five-day Voter Education Facilitators training held from 25th to 29th May, 2026, Ms. Manjombi said the training had equipped facilitators with the necessary knowledge and skills required to effectively educate citizens on electoral processes and democratic participation.
She emphasized that VEFs are ambassadors of the Electoral Commission of Zambia and must provide accurate, factual and non-partisan information to all eligible citizens across Chipangali District.
“Free, fair and credible elections largely depend on an informed electorate,” Ms. Manjombi said.
She further urged facilitators to remain disciplined, committed and dedicated as they undertake voter education activities in various communities ahead of the general elections
