2027 CDF APPLICATIONS STILL OPEN
Ba Luano, the opportunity is still open!
Luano Town Council wishes to remind members of the public that applications for the 2027 Constituency Development Fund (CDF) are still being received. Eligible individuals, cooperatives, clubs, and community groups are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity and submit their applications within the stipulated period.
Application Deadline: 30th September 2026.

Applicants are encouraged not to wait until the last minute. Ensure that all required information and supporting documents are correctly completed and submitted before the deadline.

LUANO DISTRICT ELECTORAL OFFICER PLEASED WITH EARLY AND GOOD VOTER TURNOUT, PROVIDES VOTING-DAY UPDATE

Luano District Electoral Officer, Mr. Emmanuel Lukupwa, has expressed delight at the early and good turnout of voters in Luano District as residents participate in the 13th August 2026 General Elections.

Mr. Lukupwa said he was pleased to see voters turning up in good number and arriving early to cast their ballots, describing the development as encouraging. He also provided an update that all polling stations across the District are open and operating smoothly, allowing registered voters to exercise their democratic right without challenges.

During his visit to Twikatane Primary School polling station, Mr. Lukupwa observed steady voter activity and commended the orderly conduct of the process. He further noted that polling stations in the valley part of the District opened exactly at 06:00 hours as well.
