The Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development through Cooperative College has trained Cooperators in Namwala,Choma,Kafue and Chilanga Districts.
The College had embarked on a training needs assessment to find out the gaps that are there from the Cooperatives so that the trainings have an impact on the cooperators to better their performance.
As the trainings were being conducted at Cooperative College in the Main Hall for Kafue and Chilanga District Cooperators ,Namwala and Choma were also being trained at Namwala Town and Kabulamwaanda area.
The people of Kabulamwaanda flocked in great numbers compared to the invited participants such that there was no space for the cooperators to sit.
However, with the experienced trainers of Cooperative College and knowing the huge task that the College has been given, the training was done to ensure that all that came were engaged and taught.
This showed how much cooperators are thirsty for knowledge.
In Choma District,Mbabala Cooperators were trained in the areas of need.
The trainings for the districts based on the needs were conducted in Mindset Change, Governance,Financial Management, Business Planning,Value Chain Development,Conflict Resolution and Communication Skills.
The time has come for SME's and Cooperators to change their mindset and work together for a common new goal.
Zambia Cooperative College which is under the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development has well educated and experienced trainers who can handle tasks with practical solutions.
The College appreciates the continued and scaled up financial support from the Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprise Development.
