As a women's rights advocate and a teacher of human rights, I have failed to remain silent and decided to throw my weight on the trending issue of the brutal and senseless killing of the innocent woman Ms Hellen in Kalumbila last week.
The brutal killing of Helen Kamutumbe in Kalumbila is a stark reminder of the darkness that can consume us. The allegations of organ harvesting are serious and hence need thorough investigation. Mare accusations cannot justify the merciless beating of a defenseless woman to the point of death. Clearly the beating of Hellen Kamutumbe was out of malice, and there could be more to her death than meets the eye. Under normal circumstances, people are compassionate such that when someone cries for help they listen and help. Hellen cried for someone to rescue her, a cry of innocence, pleading to be heard but not even fellow women could identify with her and rescue her( the most strange and scary thing about this matter). Normally, women, with their motherly instincts are able to tell the different types of cries, and would have recognized Hellen's cry and tried to rescue her even sorrounding to shield her, instead they were dancing, mocking and celebrating the unfortunate incident. What a waste of marternal instincts!!! Her cries for help, her tears, her final scream - all fell on deaf ears. Taking a life is never the answer, especially when it's fueled by unproven claims and mob justice. Where will her accusers end up now? They will live to regret their actions for the remainder of their miserable lives. What have they solved apart from bringing misery on themselves? Let's stand together against such brutality and demand justice for Helen. Her life mattered, and so do the values of compassion, empathy, and justice. Share this post to as many groups as possible
