Speech to Voters;
Fellow citizens, distinguished guests, youths, mothers, fathers, and the people of Zambia,
Good day to you all.
Today, I stand before you not only as a concerned citizen, but as someone who believes in the future of our great nation. Zambia belongs to all of us, and together we have the power to shape its direction through unity, peace, and responsible leadership.
Our country is blessed with hardworking people, natural resources, and great potential. However, many citizens continue to face challenges such as unemployment, high cost of living, poor access to healthcare, and limited opportunities for young people. These are not just statistics — they are real struggles affecting families every day.
As voters, your voice matters. Elections are not about hatred, violence, or division. Elections are about choosing leaders who will serve the people honestly, protect national interests, and bring meaningful development to every community.
We must support leadership that:
Creates jobs for youths and women,
Improves education and healthcare,
Fights corruption without fear or favour,
Supports farmers and local businesses,
Promotes peace and national unity,
And respects the rights and dignity of every citizen.
My appeal to every voter is this: vote wisely, peacefully, and responsibly. Do not allow tribalism, political violence, or false promises to divide us. Zambia is stronger when we stand together as one people and one nation.
To the youths, you are not only the leaders of tomorrow — you are partners in building the nation today. Your ideas, energy, and participation are important for national progress.
Let us protect our democracy, respect one another, and put the interests of the country first. Development will only come when leaders and citizens work together with honesty, discipline, and accountability.
In conclusion, I encourage every citizen to remain peaceful before, during, and after elections. Let us choose dialogue over conflict, unity over division, and progress over destruction.
May God bless you all, and may God bless Zambia.
Thank you!
